Why are you running for this position
|
I have been a member of the women’s health section on and off for the past several years. My practice has evolved to include more and more women’s health as the need in my area increases. Previously, I have served our professional association in many capacities, but as my practice evolves, I feel more passionate about getting more involved in the Section. I am particularly interested in assisting with research as this parallels my current clinical movement towards researching women’s health, as it relates to chronic pain in this population. I am also hard working and enthusiastic. As a front line clinical therapist, I also understand some of the research that a clinician in women’s health would find relevant in practice. With the development of ACOs and the changing healthcare environment, research in women’s health will become even more important. I want to be a part of keeping us innovative and relevant during these times.
